Good Morning and Welcome to Stamping Peace!  We were supposed to have snow flurries this morning, so I was excited to search for a “snow quote” last night.   (Hello to my Dad down in Florida who is trying to escape the snow!)  It didn’t snow, but we did get a couple of flurries this past week-end, so we’ll celebrate that with our happy little snowman from the Snow Day stamp set.  The papers are Pool Party and Basic Black, and the inks are Pool Party, Staz-On Black and Pumpkin Pie.  The edges are dusted with glitter (I used a two-way glue pen) and the snowflakes are embellished with the smallest basic pearls.

I saw an Easel Card version of this card (it moves!) over at Dawn Griffin’s website (Dawn’s Stampin’ Thoughts).  I haven’t learned the cuts for an easel card yet, so this is a simplified version!

The inside sentiment is from the Joyful Christmas stamp set, but I used Sassy Salutations to make it into a “Thinking of You” card,  a “Happy Birthday” card and a “Feel Better” card.

  1. Love the pearls on the snowflakes, dresses them up! We got snow here for the first time this year last night. It’s just little clumps on the grass but snow nevertheless. The pool party is a pretty color for the snowman.
