Baby Card

Baby Card 001

“Making the decision to have a child ~ it’s momentous.  It is to decide forever to have your heart

go walking outside your body.”

~Elizabeth Stone

Welcome and Good Morning from Stamping Peace!   And welcome to the world baby James, baby Daniel, baby Jaxson and baby Aspen, all born in the last two months.  : )   This card for baby James was so fun to make…I used the Circle framelits to make the rattle, and the Label framelits and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder for the polka dotted background.  The color of the paper, ink and ribbon is Pool Party.  The sentiments are from Petite Pairs.  The top of the rattle is dusted with “Dazzling Diamonds,” and the trim on the rattle is made with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

And here’s another fun project…baby wrapping paper!!!  The stamp set is retired, but the pool party and early espresso ribbons are in the current Stampin’ Up! catalog.   I can’t wait to make more of this, but I never seem to have enough hours in the day…does anyone else have that problem?

This is a blog candy month, so if you leave a comment, your name will  be put into the drawing for some Stampin’ Up product on Thanksgiving Day.  : )

Does anyone follow Brian King’s blog?  He earned the “Rising Star” trip with Stampin’ Up! and he has pictures today.  This company is so amazing, it really pampers its demonstrators.  I feel blessed to be part of the whole thing.  Come join my team and enjoy the perks, too!  I just earned a $400 grab bag of retired products for participating in a Book-A-Thon at the beginning of the month.  In one day, demonstrators booked 15,643 events.   So many people coming together to make cards and papercrafts to brighten the lives of others…it’s wonderful to be a part of it all!  : )

Thanks for stopping by today…have a great week-end!

Stamping Peace,

  1. There is nothing more wonderful than new babies. That sweet smell and little fingers and toes and oh, that first smile! Your paper is so cute and your card could be for either boy or girl depending on the paper used.

    • Hi Lorraine! You’re going to win that blog candy this month, aren’t you! : ) The handle was just a strip of paper and the little “o” part was made with the two smallest circles of the circles framelits. Easy peasy! I put the whole rattle on with dimensionals. I walk in the morning around 9:00 (unless it’s REALLY cold and then we walk later (or we wait for Jonathan to take him at lunch).

  2. I really like the Dazzling Diamonds on the rattle top. Makes it look new! Because once a baby starts teething it will never look the same!! James’ parents will love receiving your card!😊
