“May God in His wisdom and infinite love, look down on you always from heaven above.
May He send you good fortune, contentment and peace, and may all your blessings forever increase.”
~Susan Branch
Welcome to Stamping Peace. Hope everyone had a relaxing week-end. We were invited to the beautiful Maine coast with friends to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and the 37th Anniversary of our first date! : )
As you can see in the top photo, we even did a little stamping project while we were away! We made little Thanksgiving tags with the Truly Grateful and Tags Four You Stamp Sets to attach to bags of Blessing Mix. The tags were cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies. The ribbons were stapled onto the top.
The recipe for Blessing Mix is: 2 cups Bugles, 2 cups pretzels, 1 cup nuts or seeds, 1 cup dried fruit, 1 cup candy corn, 1 cup M&M’s and Chocolate kisses. You can find the recipe and free downloadable tags that explain what each ingredient symbolizes at www.organizedchristmas.com. There are four designs to choose from. There is also a recipe and tags for Christmas Blessing Mix.
Our Monday Morning Stamping Class also made tags for Blessing Mix, and got a bag to take home with them. Happy Thanksgiving ladies! : )
I love that the guys were helping out. Thanks for the receipe. That’s a great idea.
The guys actually seemed to enjoy themselves! : )
Your blog is so great. It gives me such a calm and purpose to my days. Can’t wait to try these, time willing. xoxo
Hi Nancy. I’m glad that you enjoy the blog. I’m just trying to “pay it forward” for all the help I’ve received from friends and from on-line in my stamping hobby and business. : )
Thanks for the relaxing time last night. I loved the peaceful music and I had so much fun with the projects that we made. It was great seeing Mark, too.
It’s always fun Sue! : )
