“Snowmen fall from heaven…unassembled.”
Good Morning from Stamping Peace. We are supposed to get some snow flurries tonight and tomorrow morning and we’re feeling the excitement! My son Jonathan, who owns “Summersweet Landscaping”, bought a snowblowing business two days ago to augment his plowing business, so we have had a lot of conversations surrounding snow this week. : ) And I have been making some of these cute snowmen cards for the upcoming craft fair. The papers are Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Smoky Slate. The inks are Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Staz-On Black and Pumpkin Pie. When I was making these cards, the little tiny heart popped off the acrylic block and went rolling away. I was down on my hands and knees searching everywhere for that tiny piece! I would recommend the set in wood instead of clear. : )
Did anyone get to join in on the “Christmas on the Farm” webcast yesterday? If you missed it, you can still watch it over at Ann Voskamps blog… aholyexperience.com. The chat between Ann and author Liz Curtis Higgs lasts for one hour so you’ll want to make a cup of tea and relax! Ann Voskamp wrote the book “One Thousand Gifts”, which had a profound healing effect on me when I read it nine months after my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer. I highly recommend it. Liz Curtis Higgs has written many books about women of the Bible (“The Bad Girls of the Bible”) and 5 or 6 children’s books that my boys loved as they were growing up. They are both extra-ordinary women and their webcast is a great prelude to the Advent season.
Enjoy the day and hope you can stamp some peace over the week-end!
