Joyful Wishes Makeover 001

“We don’t have the power to make life “fair,” but we do have the power to make life joyful.”

~Jonathan Lockwood Hute

This card was made with the “Joyful Wishes” stamp set, as an entry for this week’s “Merry Monday” challenge. (The sentiment is from “That’s the Ticket” stamp set and the candy dots are from the Brights Collection).   Are you going to be stamping over this long week-end, and do you need a little inspiration to get your creative juices flowing?  Then hop on over to Merry Monday at http://www.merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com where this week’s challenge is to make a Christmas Card with flowers on it.  I love how this DSP and the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder coordinated, but I’m not happy with how I placed the leaves.  Any suggestions?  Have fun stamping this week-end!  : )   Cheers, Dawn  P.S.  If you are over at Merry Monday, you’ll see this card without the leaves and the sentiment…I was originally going for a “clean and simple” look without a sentiment because I was going to make it into a thank you card instead of a Christmas Card, but then I thought it looked TOO plain and did a makeover!  : )

  1. At least your leaves are where they should be located. Mine would be over on the back of the card. I have no “creative juices”.

  2. Could you perhaps leave out the leaves and stamp the stamp the greeting at the bottom in the same green color as you did the leaves and emboss that greeting?

  3. I love your simple stamping of the poinsettia and the pretty background, Dawn! I always have trouble getting the leaves just right with this set. It looks like you got them placed perfectly! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
