Sunshine on our shoulders : )

Sunshine Scrapbook Page 001

“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.”

~J. M. Barrie

Good Morning!  I hope you had a nice Memorial Day week-end.  On Sunday I was able to take a trip with my friend and “downline”,Terry, and attend a stamping event that Beth Mills (another friend and downline team member) hosted in DownEast Maine.  One of our projects was this scrapbook page.  The sun was made with the Circle Framelits and the little Banner Punch.  The Daffodil Yellow Circle with 12 little banners has a matching Crushed Curry circle and 12 banners underneath, attached with dimensionals.  The clouds were made with a Word Bubble Framelit and the butterflies were made with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits.  The flowers on the bottom were all punched with the Petite Petals punch, the Boho Blossoms Punch, and the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  The “grass” was cut with the Fringe Scissors.  (For a close-up view, just click on the picture. ) These are photos of “my men.”  On the left is Jonathan and Joshua on our vacation to Florida at ages 4 and 2  (they are now 26 and 24).  On the top right is Joseph on our vacation to Cape Cod in 2008.  On the bottom right is Jonathan and hubby on our vacation to Mont St. Anne in Canada in 2002.  These pictures are sure bringing me some sunshine…happy memories!   Thanks Beth!   : )  Happy Scrappin’,  Dawn

  2. Beth, I love to come Down East. Your projects are always “over the top”, your hospitality and food are comfort to the max, and the ladies are so much fun! Thanks so much. : )
