How to make “Sour Cream Containers”

Merry Monday May Twenty Sixth 004

“How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!”

~Maya Angelou (R.I.P.)

On Saturday we had our spring Stamping Peace Team Meeting and all the team members received one of these “sour cream containers” with a small gift inside (along with a little jar of flowers from our garden.)  : )   To make the sour cream containers, start with a sheet of 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ cardstock (the small paper stacks are this size) and make two score lines on the long sides, close to the edge.  This will give the top and bottom a “crimped” look.  Roll the paper into a tube (like a toilet paper roll).  Glue the bottom edge closed.  Fill it with a treat.  : )   Glue the top edge closed, in the opposite direction.  Embellish (mine had red bows and a little tag that said “thank you.”)  I can’t thank the Stamping Peace Team Members enough, they add such fun to my life!  Here are four of the six of them (one was sick…hope you are feeling better Terry! and one had another commitment):
