An Apple for the Teacher

Whitney's Card, Teachers Card 016  Whitney's Card, Teachers Card 017

“If we have knowledge, let others light their candles at it.”

~Margaret Fuller

At our children’s stamping/cooking/sewing class on Wednesday, the girls made this card to give their teachers an “apple” on the first day of school!  They used a stamp from the “Best of Fall” set that Stampin’ Up! put out last year.  The base card is embossed with the new polka dot folder (love it!)  The sentiment on the inside, “What a beautiful thing, the gift of you” is from the “Gifts of Kindness” set.  What a beautiful thing, to minister to others through cards!

Here are the girls in my backyard, holding the jars of carrot pickles that they made at class…our next generation of Laura Ingalls Wilder/Tasha Tudors.  : )  Great job girls!  Our next children’s class is on Sept. 12th.  This class is full, but if you know of a child that would like to start a class with her (or his) friends, just let me know.  : )   Have a good week-end, Dawn

  1. You are amazing, Dawn! Love that teacher’s gift. I like the black background especially for handling and it’s masculine or feminine too.
