Stand-Up Christmas Cards

Pine Cone Christmas Card 002

“The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”

~Ferdinand Foch

We definitely have some souls on fire in the stamping world!  So much talent and energy being channeled into ministering to others through cards and papercrafts…it’s wonderful!  The card on the left is one that I made at Beth Mills’ workshop, and the card on the right I made at the Maine Stampers Day in Augusta last month with Jean Tarrio.  Both women are on fire in the stamping scene…so talented!  For the four panel card, cut the cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 11″.  Score it at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″ and then turn it over and score it at 5 1/2″.   The Garden Green panels are 2 3/8″ x  4 1/4″ and Very Vanilla panels are 2 1/4″ x  4″.  A Grunge stamp is used on the background of each panel, along with stamps from the Ornamental Pine stamp set (a favorite set of a lot of us Mainers who live in the “Pine Tree State.”)  : )   The new Confetti Stars punch was used on the top of the card, and the “legs” on the bottom of both cards were punched out with the Decorative Label punch.  We used the Bakers Twine as a bellyband on the pine card.  On Jean’s card, we used the new Festival of Trees and Merry Everything stamp sets and the Nordic Noel DSP.   They are such unique cards..alot of fun to make.  Thank you Beth and Jean!

  1. Oh, I love these cards. I especially like the stars punched out of the top. I hate to say this but I wish I had (would make) more time to craft. Have a great day.
