“One kind word can warm three winter months.”
It is winter and it’s cold (28 degrees this morning) but it actually felt warm on our morning walk, until we got home and my ears and cheeks started burning in the warm house! What a storm…there are trees and branches down EVERYWHERE from 14 inches of heavy, wet snow on Sunday. Our street is still closed with a huge tree and power lines down across the road. Joseph got back to school today though, we walked down to the main road to catch the bus. I heard Orrington got power restored this morning…hooray!!!
It’s definitely been good “stamping weather” and one thing I’ve been busy on is these card and gift box sets with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I came across them on “My Little Craft Blog’s” You Tube Station. The box opens from the top and holds five little chocolate bars. We’ve got a paper shortage here at the moment, so the card is Very Vanilla and the box is Whisper White. The ribbon was Daffodil Yellow and I wanted it to be Crushed Curry, so I colored it with a Crushed Curry marker, and no one would ever know the difference!
Have a great day,
