“Wicked Cute” Thanksgiving Favors!

Pumpkin Boxes 001

“‘Tis the gift to be simple, ’tis the gift to be free, ‘Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be, And when we find ourselves in the place just right, ‘Twill be in the valley of love and delight.”

~18th Century Shaker Song

Our stamping classes will be in the valley of love and delight later this morning and tonight when we make these cute thanksgiving favors that can be filled with nuts or candy or popcorn kernals, etc.  I saw the project over at “Simple Stampin'” (Susan Itell)…my “go-to” site these days!  I just think they are the cutest.  The green “curly cues” are made by wrapping a thin strip of cardstock around a pencil, and the burlap strings are from the 1 1/4″ inch burlap ribbon (if we cut off the stitching from the sides of the ribbon we can pull out the strands).  The tag is made with the Modern Label punch and the leaves are made with the Autumn Accents Bigz.  Our morning class is full, but we have a couple of openings this evening or in tomorrow’s classes.  Hope you can join us!

  1. So, how is the weather there today? Rain here, but no snow. I love the little treat holders. So cute. I also love the term “wicked” which I never remember to use. Ha. Ha. Keep warm.
