Christmas Candle Box

Christmas Candle Box and Hot Choco 005

“May peace and plenty be the first to lift the latch on your door and happiness be guided to your home by the candle of Christmas.”

~Unknown

Good Morning and Welcome or Welcome Back to Stamping Peace!  This is a little Christmas candle box made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  The directions for it are on a previous post.  Just go to “Home” and then scroll down until you see the box with the pumpkin on it (made by my awesome downline, Beth Mills).   The box is 2″ x 2″ and is the perfect size for a little tea light candle.  Joseph and I make tea light candles every year, so this will be a great project for him to make.  We get our beeswax and candle supplies from a company called Brushy Mountain Bee Farm.   You can easily find it on the web.  The wax comes in a block and just needs to be melted and poured into little metal tea light cups or molds.  There is a big selection at Brushy Mountain.  We have been making candles for years and years…hubby and older sons make parafin candles, but Joseph and I like the beeswax.  It’s a great family hobby!

Hope everyone can stay warm and dry today with our expected snow (and Nancy down in rainy New York!)

  1. Yep, and raining it is. Drove my daughter, Brittney, to work this morning and I tried all the windshield wiper settings . . . ugh and the puddles WOW. I am however very, very grateful that it is not snow.

How nice of the family enjoying a hobby. Today I might get my other daughter, Meaghan, to make some cards.

    Keep warm and cozy!
    🙂
