“The courage to imagine the otherwise is our greatest resource, adding color and suspense to all our life.”
~Daniel J. Boorstin
Good Morning! I’ve been having a time of it with our internet connection, but it has returned. This is another card that we made at this weeks stamping classes. (But not one that we are making at this afternoons Childrens Class.) I just love that lemon stamp from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! The lemon and two of the leaves are raised up on dimensionals, as well as the whole smaller green panel. The Designer Series Paper is from the Regals DSP Stack and coordinating colors are Crushed Curry and Old Olive. We didn’t have enough Glue Dots for everyone, so I made some with the hole punch and some Crystal Effects!
On an entirely different note, Jonathan (my oldest son who owns Summersweet Landscaping), his Gardenista, Maria, and I went to the Boston Garden Show yesterday! It was so nice to have a peek at spring after the 119″ of snow we have had this winter. (And to have lunch with my Goddaughter, Erika, who is always a little burst of spring!). But, back in Maine and back to more snow tonight and tomorrow! : )
At our Children’s Class this afternoon we will be making the Easter Card below, we’ll be learning how to make Irish Soda Bread for St. Patricks Day, and we’ll be quilting our doll quilts! Hope you have a creative week-end, and if you create a St. Patricks Day card this week-end, send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll post some of them on our blog on St. Patrick’s Day! : )
