Pistachio Ice Cream!

Card Asortment 036

“Seize the moment.  Remember all those women on the Titantic who waved off dessert.”

Good Morning!  This is another card we are making this week at stamping classes using the new “Sprinkles of Life” stamp set.  The idea for the tag came from a Justin Kreiger design.  I changed the sentiment to “spoil yourself today” which is from the retired “Bring on the Cake” stamp set.  The pistachio ice cream (which was my mom’s favorite!) is heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The ice cream cone is made from the new Delightful Dijon cardstock and stamped with Baked Brown Sugar (retired) ink.   The background on the base card was made with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and the new Mint Macaron ink.  The sentiment inside the card says “Happy Birthday” from the Sassy Salutations stamp set and is stamped with Delightful Dijon ink.  I hope we are all able to spoil ourselves a little bit today!  : )

  1. Hi Dawn,

I like this one! Pistachio is one of my favorites. Sorry I didn¹t make it last night. I thought I might be able to but wasn¹t feeling up to it headache plus am crunched for time due to my trip to Franklin to take care of our grandson, Forrest. Mum and I are leaving tomorrow morning early to stay for 3 days. Do you have a date for next month?

    Peace to you,

    Val
