Fathers Day Project

Fathers Day Project 006

“Of all nature’s gifts to the human race, what is sweeter to a man than his children?”

~Marcus Tullius Cicero

I saw this cute Father’s Day Project on the Maine Stampers page.  It was made with little tin boxes, which I couldn’t find at the craft store, but I did find these little wooden boxes at A.C. Moore.  Inside are two graham cracker halves, two little milk chocolate bars and four marshmellows…all the fixings for dad to make himself a s’more on Father’s Day.  We’ll be making this project this morning at our childrens class, along with a jar of my mom’s marinade for grilling:

1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 4 T. ketcup, 2 T. apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 4 cloves garlic, minced.  Mix all ingredients and marinate chicken for at least 6 hours before grilling.

Happy Father’s Day!

Peace to you, Dawn.
