Homemade DSP

Pail of Apples 022

“Give me juicy autumnal fruit, ripe and red from the orchard.”

~Walt Whitman

These apples are ripening, but need more work with the aquapainter!  The pail is perfect though, with a watermark stamp from Work of Art stamped in Smoky Slate (stamped off first).   What I want to show is the homemade DSP (Designer Series Paper) on the Pear Pizzaz Cardstock.  It’s hard to see in the picture, but it was first stamped with the tiny fine splatter stamp from Georgeous Grunge and then with a little leaf.  I stamped off most of the ink before stamping this.  It looks great “in person!”  So, when we don’t have that DSP that we need, we can always make our own!  This pail of apples was from one of the “Best Of” series from last year.  I was told that some of our area Apple Orchards are opening this weekend.  Autumn is definitely on the way! : )
