Baby Wrapping Paper for GDP#003

Baby Gift Wrap 005

“A baby is born with a need to be loved ~ and never outgrows it.”

~Frank A. Clark

This week’s Global Design Project Challenge is a Theme Challenge and the theme is “Baby!”  I love to give books for baby gifts, so I made some wrapping paper with the Gorgeous Grunge and Work of Art Stamp Sets.  The plaid wrapping paper is made with Marina Mist and Wisteria Wonder Inks.  Between the lines of plaid are the very thin lines of Gorgeous Grunge in Smoky Slate, stamped off.  The polka dotted paper is made with Melon Mambo and Tangelo Twist inks.  The background ink spatters are stamped in Smoky Slate.  The tags are made with the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set and the sentiment is from the “Baby, We’ve Grown” stamp set. I masked the sentiment so that the baby pacifier wouldn’t be covered by the blue ribbon.  Hope you can play along with GDP#003 at http://www.global-design-project.com/
