Another Path to Peace for #GDP012

Thanksgiving 2015 011

“All that we behold is full of blessings.”

~William Wordsworth

Last week I made the front of this card with the shepherd and sheep traveling a path of peace, and this week I’ve made the back with the three Kings traveling the path of peace for the Global Design Project Challenge.  This week it is a “Case the Designer” challenge and  I’ve turned Brian Kings hill of snow into a hill of sand. : )

Acadia National Park Trip 039

The “peace” on the little road of peace was made by masking off the single word from the longer sentiment in the “All Ye Faithful” stamp set.  This card is being made as a little mini crèche to display during Advent, Christmas and Epiphany.   Hope you can play along this week over at http://www.global-design-project.com  Stamping Peace, Dawn.

  1. How unusual to do the back of the card, but I do love it! To have the front and back of a card done in the same theme is a great idea. Thank so much for playing with us at Global Design Project.

    • The shepherds and wisemen are coming from the east and west, the Holy Family will be inside. It’s made to display as a mini creche…the shepherds during Advent, the Holy Family for the Christmas season, and the wisemen during Ephiphany!

  2. Dawn – I love your project. What a wonderful use of this stamp set – I’m so impressed that you continued with the wisemen on the back of the card – brilliant. I just love that you turned the snow into sand to make this beauty. Thank you so much for playing along with my “CASE the Designer” Challenge this week at the Global Design Project. I’m so happy you did.
