Happy St. Patrick’s Day for #GDP026

#GDP026 018

“May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home.  May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam.  May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures, May all life’s passing seasons bring the best to you and yours!”

~An Irish Blessing

Top of the Mornin’ to you!  : )  We have a sketch challenge over at the Global Design Project this week at http://global-design-project.com/.  I used the challenge to design a St. Patrick’s Day card, and it was my very first date with Cucumber Crush.  : )  The base is Cucumber Crush Cardstock, then it is in the in-color polka-dotted Designer Series Paper from the In-Color Paper Stack.  The “shamrock”, made from a flower from the Flower Shop stamp set, is inked with Cucumber Crush and has two petals cut off.  A sparkly Iced Rhinestone Embellishment shines in the center.  The frame around the sentiment is from the Hello, Lovely stamp set (with the original sentiment masked off) and a little heart at the top of the frame is covered up by the cute little bow from the From the Garden stamp set.  The sentiment, stamped in black, is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  The White background is embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.   Thanks for the inspiration Global Design Project!  Happy St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th! ❤ Dawn

  1. Great card, Dawn! With all that Cucumber Crush, it’s so smart to make your central panel so white. Love it! Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge!

  2. Dawn, I love the clever way you’ve made this clover. Such a great way to make a St. Paddy’s day card without a themed stamp set. Thanks for sharing this marvelous idea and playing along with Global Design Project.
