“Celebrate the happiness that friends are always giving, make every day a holiday and celebrate just living!”
It’s a color challenge over at http://global-design-project.com this week…and this is the card I made:
The Tip Top Taupe background was stamped with the background stamp from “You’ve Got This” and everything else was stamped with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set. Hope we are all able to reach out to a friend today! xo Dawn
Good Morning! This beauty is a Becky Roberts design, I just changed the color of Soft Sky to Pool Party. The ferns are Old Olive ink and the sentiment and postmark are Early Espresso ink. Stamp sets are Butterfly Basics and Gorgeous Grunge, butterflies are cut out with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Have a wonderful day! xoDawn
“To have JOY one must share it. HAPPINESS was born a twin.”
I made this card for this weeks challenge over at http://global-design-challenge.com
The “HELLO” is from the Silhouettes & Script Stamp Set, the “love” is from the Expressions Thinlits Dies, the flowers are from the Simple Stems Stamp Set (sponged with Blushing Bride ink) and the Crumb Cake Cardstock is embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder…all from Stampin’ Up! (some items are retired). Have a great weekend, Dawn.
“So be truly glad, there is wonderful joy ahead.”
The challenge this week over at http://global-design-project.com/ is to make something with Project Life supplies and I used the Project Life 3″ x 4″ Grid Cards to make a graduation card for one of our goddaughters who is graduating this weekend from St. Joseph’s College here in Maine. She is from out of state and loves our Maine Blueberry Coffee, so I had to add the coffee stain from the Timeless Textures stamp set to her card. (I should have made it blue!) : )
I chose the tiny circles from the Timeless Textures set for the bottom of the grid card, to coordinate with the larger circles on the Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Suite Sayings stamp set, and the inside sentiment, “Dream Big” , is from the Enjoy the Little Things Stamp Set. Cardstock and Ink colors are Hello Honey, Bermuda Bay and Smokey Slate. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend! xoDawn.
“Just pray for a tough hide and a tender heart.”
A good friend lost her mom last week (age 92). Well, not lost, we know she’s safe in heaven! This is the card and envelope I made for my friend:
All the supplies are Stampin’ Up! except the background paper…that is from a Jodie Lee Designs Paperstack. The cardstock is Tip Top Taupe and Pistachio Pudding, the stamp sets are Teeny Tiny Wishes and Blessings From Heaven. The Butterfly was made with the Bold Butterfly Framelits and the stamped butterfly underneath is from Watercolor Wings. Thanks for stopping by, Dawn.
“It is not how much we do, but how much love we put into doing.”
Todays sketch challenge over at http://global-design-project.com/ is very uncomplicated and I had a great time creating a card with the new Timeless Textures stamp set. I can tell this set is going to be one of my all-time favorites. The sentiment comes from the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set. Have a great week!
