Starbucks Cards

Did we have a great Thanksgiving weekend?  One of our highlights on Thanksgiving Day was that we were able to drive down to the Gardiner Rest Stop where our middle son works as an Assistant Manager of Food and Beverages, and have a quick visit with him on his coffee break.  Even though he had to work on Thanksgiving, we were so happy to get to see him!

Most of his work involves the Starbucks part of the rest stop, so that inspired me to go home and make some “Starbucks” cards for him!  I used the “Merry Cafe” stamp set, Coffee Cups Framelits Dies and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Before I sign off, I’d like to welcome Kynlee to our Stamping Peace family!  Happy Stamping Kynlee, and all!  xo Dawn

  1. Hi Dawn, Oh I know how it is for children to work on holidays. My two work in the food industry and there are very few holidays where they are closed. We also have seven hospital related workers and the patients do not get a holiday either.
I love your cards. I prefer Dunkin Donuts to Starbucks, but LOVE your cards!
    Have a blessed day.

    • Hi Nancy! I’m making them for him to give to his co-workers…only seven more to go! 🙂 We were so happy to be able to make the trip that morning (it’s 85 miles from us). From there, Joseph and I went home to cook for sick Jonathan, we joined hubby and his family the next day at the mountain. ❤ Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful day! ❤

  2. Dawn – these cards are wonderful! I’ve seen 1000 cards with this stamp set and dies – yet this one seems so unique and beautifully designed/created. We, too, visited family who were working during the Thanksgiving weekend. I’m so glad you had a great Thanksgiving. ❤
