“We need a community to help us reach our goal. Faith is not an individual journey; it’s a team sport. We need each other. We are on this journey together.”
If you are reading this right now, thanks for being a part of the stamping community. We have such a fun hobby that is connecting us with each other and with people all over the world!
Sometimes when we need a card in a hurry, it’s easy to let some designer series paper do the work for us. This paper is from the “Come To Gather” series. This color combo, inspired by the DSP, is Pretty Peacock, Pear Pizzaz and Cajun Craze.
Thank you for the comments, texts, emails and calls about our dog, Teddy. He is doing great physically. Emotionally he is having his ups and downs adjusting to his “new normal.” He was a little wary of the snow on the steps this morning! It was snowing like crazy and I was out grocery shopping with some Scouts for our camping trip this weekend. Crazy fun!!!
Have a stampin’ good weekend!
“We are at our best when we are grateful.”
I am still playing with the beautiful “Come To Gather” Designer Series Papers! This stunning color combination above is Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and the retired “Peek-a-boo” Peach.
This is a monochromatic card that we just finished making at one of the two stamping classes that I hold at my home each month. We used the new “Day of Thanks” stamp set and the leaf was cut from the “Seasonal Layers Framelits Dies.”
Have a great weekend, hope you have fun plans. I will be camping out with 300 Boy Scouts at Acadia National Park!!! : )
“Gratefulness isn’t hard. Forgetting to be grateful is what makes life hard.”
Hello Stampers! It has been a long time since I have blogged, because I have just a tiny bit of space left on this free blog (thank you WordPress!) I hope you had a fun summer and are having a beautiful autumn (we are supposed to get a little snow tonight here in Maine!) : )
This is a card and treat box I made for the November Maine Stampers Blog Hop. You can follow the monthly hops on my Facebook Business Page, which you can find by searching “Stamping Peace” on Facebook! Hope to see you over there! I’ve started to post a few projects over there as well.
For the card above, the little leaves were stamped with a stamp from the “Colorful Seasons” stamp set. The image in the circle is a piece of DSP from “Come To Gather”. The sentiment is from the “Gather Together” Stamp Set and the leaf is cut from a “Gathered Leaves” die.
The treat box is made from the fun new “Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies”. The leaves are cut from the “Gathered Leaves” dies. There is a little chocolate treat inside. : )
Happy Stamping and please say a little prayer for our dog. He had a leg amputated last week due to bone cancer and he is still adjusting to a “new normal.” He has made great progress in just one week…he can now go DOWN, and up, stairs, so that is huge!
Peace, Dawn xo
