Just Breathe.

“Just as the outgoing tide returns to the ocean side…so the gift of outgoing friendship comes back to the giver.”

~Kathy Long

This card is a CASE from the new Stampin’ Up! catalog (p. 161), using the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and the Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies.  It’s fun to think of the relaxing days of summer during the busy gardening days of spring!  I have to start getting all our gardens ready to plant so I might be missing days of blogging here and there, but I’ll be thinking of you!

Have a peaceful and productive day!  xo Dawn

You Are Blessing To Me

“Friendship isn’t a big thing – it’s a million little things.”

~Author Unknown

Good Morning Stamping Friends!  This is a second card I made with yesterdays layout from   You, Stamping Peace visitors, are a blessing to me, and I thank you for your visits and comments! ❤

~Numbers 6: 24-25

Good Morning Stampers!  This card was inspired by the sketch over at    For the first time ever, I got a few “non-Stampin’ Up!” stamps…only because I had a gift card at Hobby Lobby…and this sentiment stamp is one of them.  I needed a card for the leader of an eight week pilot program I just finished at our parish.  The program is called “Endow” and the first guide we studied in the program was centered around Pope John Paul II’s “Letter to Women”.  He extolled the “feminine genius” and the gifts women bring to the world.  It was lovely!  For this card,  I used the Stampin’ Up! Layering Ovals and don’t we love those In-Color Bitty Bows!   Cardstock colors are Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  Here is the challenge sketch:

Have a peaceful day,  xo Dawn

CAS(E) This Sketch #267

“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Amy Koenders design this week over at looked so simple, but it took me a few tries to get something I liked.  The sentiment is from the old stamp set “Enjoy the Little Things” and is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I know that “all that glitters is not gold”, but even though the photo doesn’t show it, the gold does glitter on this card!  : )   Have a great week-end! Peace, Dawn xo

Ornamental Pine for #GDP068

“The pine stays green in the winter…wisdom in hardship.”

~Norman Douglas

This is my second post today because I finally had time to play along with the Global Design Project over at   This week it is a Case the Designer challenge from Jess Williams.

I decided to follow the lay-out, but with a different color scheme.  I used the “Ornamental Pine” stamp set from the 2015 holiday season.  Inside the card I put a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock with Old Olive on the edges.  Thanks for the inspiration, Global Designers!  Stamping friends, hope you can play along, it’s alot of fun.  Cheers!  Dawn

Awesomely Artistic for #GDP037

“Celebrate the happiness that friends are always giving, make every day a holiday and celebrate just living!”

~Amanda Bradley

It’s a color challenge over at this week…and this is the card I made:

The Tip Top Taupe background was stamped with the background stamp from “You’ve Got This” and everything else was stamped with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  Hope we are all able to reach out to a friend today! xo Dawn
