“No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. This wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.”
My husband asked if I would make something for the secretaries at his work, so I made these gift bags that are straight out of Stampin’ Up’s Annual Catalog. I just added a little shiny gold heat embossed “gorgeous grunge” on the bottom of each panel to match the gold postmark stamp and the gold tag. I never get tired of the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and the coordinating Butterflies Thinlits! Hope it is a little inspiration to help you thank those that help you in your work. Have a great day, Dawn. P.S. I made the actual gift bags with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.
Good Morning! This beauty is a Becky Roberts design, I just changed the color of Soft Sky to Pool Party. The ferns are Old Olive ink and the sentiment and postmark are Early Espresso ink. Stamp sets are Butterfly Basics and Gorgeous Grunge, butterflies are cut out with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Have a wonderful day! xoDawn
“They seemed to come suddenly upon HAPPINESS as if they had surprised a butterfly in the winter woods.”
The challenge this week over at http://www.global-design-project.com is a “Case the Designer” challenge. I made the same card twice, just turning over the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper on the base, and changing the sentiments from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set. The butterfly, also stamped from the Watercolor Wings stamp set, is cut out with a Butterflies Thinlits Die, and the cardstock and ink colors are Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow. I purposely cut the DSP so that there would be a little line of hearts on the very top….adds a sweetness factor! The Mossy Meadow scallops on the bottom of the paper inspired a scallop punched bottom on the Watermelon Wonder “Inset Tag” (just made up that phrase!) : ) Thank you Michelle Last and Global Design Project, for another bout of inspiration!
Next Day Edit: I had to make a birthday card today, so made another butterfly card. I had an epiphany to add some green dots to the background of the striped DSP! The Birthday Girl sentiment is from the new Sale-A-Bration “Hello” stamp set. : )
