“Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.”
This “seaside” card is Mimi’s card for our Stamping Peace Leadership Challenge. It’s such a calm little card, and I love how the design on the embellishment replicates the middle of the sea urchin! I’d love to say more but we’re leaving at 5:30 a.m. for a whitewater rafting trip with the Boy Scouts, and that leaves me just 15 minutes to go dress, pack and eat! Have a great day and a wonderful week-end everyone!
“We feel happy when we sit near an ocean because our vibrations try to synchronize with the frequency of the waves.”
Good Morning and Welcome to Stamping Peace. If you are new to our little spot, I should explain that when the blog post comes to our e-mail, we have to click the title to get “inside” to see the photo. We had one follower that kept saying that the pictures weren’t coming to her, and we finally figured out the problem (after a couple of weeks). This computer stuff isn’t always so easy for us fifty somethings! : )
I wasn’t able to go to Convention this year, but have you seen the three minute convention video? It is so uplifting! I haven’t paid the extra money to post videos on our blog, but you can see it on my FaceBook account or our Stamping Peace Facebook account or you can see it on You Tube. Every time I watch it, it leaves me smiling and dancing!
Today’s card was submitted by Terry, another one of our Stamping Peace Leaders, for our July Leadership Challenge…to make a card with a seaside theme. I’m not sure if the banner is supposed to be a pier post, but that is what it makes me think of, along with the woodgrain “pier”. (The doily the card is sitting on reminds me of a starfish!) Terry used the By the Seashore Stamp set, and the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. It looks like the “nautical rope” was tied with Linen Thread. It’s a beautiful, soothing seaside all-occasion card Terry. Thanks for playing along with our challenge!

Our July Stamping Peace Leadership Challenge was to make a card with a seaside theme. This is Sue’s entry. I love her choice of the chevron embossing folder…looks like waves! The stamp set is “By the Seashore” and the sentiment is from “Sassy Salutations”. Beautiful color combo Sue, such a pretty card!!!
