A bell is no bell ’til you ring it,
A song is no song ’til you sing it,
And love in your heart
Wasn’t put there to stay –
Love isn’t love
‘Til you give it away.
~Oscar Hammerstein, Sound of Music, “You Are Sixteen (Reprise)”
We’ll be giving away these little bits of love tomorrow at the Assisted Living Center. I made 30 of them this morning…a quick and easy project. There is a Ghiradelli Chocolate on the inside…
To make them, cut a piece of cardstock 2 3/4″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 1 7/8″, 2 3/4″, 5″ and 5 1/2″. Fold the bottom and staple. Embellish. There’s still time before tomorrow to make some surprises for those that you love! Have fun, Dawn.

The first stamping blog that I ever came across was Becky Roberts “Inking Idaho” blog. This is one of her cards that I cased (“case” in the stamping world means “copy and share everything”). I just loved the simplicity of this card. My hearts ended up a little higher than hers, but I’ll try again with the fun new Sealed With Love stamp set. : )
A newer blog that I follow is “shawnstamps”. I saw this card that he made and loved the “frilly” hearts made with the new Love Notes Framelits Dies. The only thing I changed was to tie the ribbon into a bow, he had the strings loose and hanging. Have a great day! Peace, Dawn

Shalom! Last weekend I was able to travel over to Dennysville in Downeast Maine for a Beth Mills Stamping Event. These are two of the Valentine Cards that I made (we also made three other cards that I will post tomorrow). If you ever get a chance to attend one of her classes, they are always amazing!
